Mid South Transport, Inc is hiring for a full-time CDL-A truck driving position offering home-every-weekend scheduling based in Huntsville, Madison County. You'll run over-the-road freight while maintaining a predictable weekly schedule that brings you home.

About the Role

This OTR driving position gives you the schedule flexibility that matters: you'll be home every weekend while operating over-the-road routes that provide consistent earning opportunity throughout the week. The company assigns each driver a dedicated, well-maintained truck (2022-2025 Cascadia models) rather than a shared fleet rotation.

What You'll Do

• Drive class-8 tractors on over-the-road freight routes
• Handle freight on a 100% drop-and-hook basis—the company manages all freight loading and unloading
• Maintain a home-every-weekend schedule while meeting delivery requirements
• Perform required vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving history
• Documented over-the-road driving experience
• Reliability and professional communication skills
• Commitment to safety and on-time delivery

Compensation and Support

You'll earn between $1,350 and $1,600 per week on average. Beyond pay, the company provides a dedicated Cascadia truck that remains yours to operate, direct office support for scheduling and logistical needs, and management that maintains an open-door policy for driver concerns.
