Role Overview

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics is seeking a board certified or board eligible pediatrician or hematologist/oncologist to join our dedicated and patient-focused team. This role will contribute to nationally recognized quality and outcomes as part of the cellular therapy and pediatric transplantation program.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions, including both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for children requiring cellular therapy or pediatric transplantation.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of hematology/oncology.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics, Hematology/Oncology, or both.
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on pediatric hematology/oncology.
  • Experience in cellular therapy and/or pediatric transplantation is preferred but not required.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a collaborative team environment.
