About the Role
As Health Promotion Coordinator Lead at Akahi Associates, you'll drive evidence-based health promotion programs from conception through evaluation. Working standard business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and facility closures), you'll coordinate multiple wellness initiatives, mentor team members, and ensure programs align with health promotion best practices and organizational goals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute health promotion and wellness programs tailored to community needs and organizational priorities
- Lead health education efforts, including workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and community partners to strengthen program effectiveness
- Track program participation and health outcomes; prepare reports and data analysis
- Mentor and supervise team members working on health initiative implementation
- Ensure compliance with health promotion standards and organizational policies
- Gather and respond to feedback to continuously improve program offerings
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Health Education, or related field
- Demonstrated leadership experience in health or wellness program coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Project management and organizational abilities

Compensation & Schedule
This is a full-time position offering $28 per hour, with an additional Health & Wellness benefit of $5.09 per hour worked. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, excluding federal holidays and Government facility closures due to local or national emergencies or administrative directives.
