Commercial Sales Manager

incident.io is hiring a remote Commercial Sales Manager to lead and grow one of the fastest-moving segments of our go-to-market organization across North America. This full-time role is anchored in San Francisco with the flexibility to work remotely.

About the Role

As Commercial Sales Manager at incident.io, you'll take ownership of a high-velocity sales engine spanning early-stage startups through upper mid-market accounts. Partnering closely with our Head of Commercial Sales, CRO, and teams across Marketing, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success, you'll shape how we generate pipeline, forecast accurately, and close deals. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys coaching reps and engineering repeatable systems that scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide, mentor, and grow a team of Commercial Account Executives, setting clear expectations and a steady operating cadence.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop standout AE talent to keep strengthening and scaling the team.
• Deliver predictable revenue through reliable forecasting, disciplined deal management, and sharp prospecting alongside your reps.
• Build and sustain scalable processes that bring consistency to discovery, qualification, deal strategy, and forecasting.
• Collaborate across Marketing, RevOps, CS, Product, Legal, and Finance to fuel pipeline and steer complex deals to close.

Qualifications

• Proven success leading high-velocity SMB or Commercial sales teams within a fast-scaling B2B SaaS company, with a record of lifting consistency and hitting team quota.
• Strong grounding in full-cycle SaaS selling, plus the ability to coach reps on outbound, discovery, and qualification.
• A talent for hiring, onboarding, and developing people quickly without lowering the bar.
• Skill in reading patterns across deals and rep behavior, then turning those insights into coaching and process improvements.
• Excellent cross-functional communication to work seamlessly with Marketing, RevOps, CS, Product, Legal, and Finance.
