We are seeking a motivated and reliable Groundsman to support our tree care operations. This position is crucial to the success of the crew, assisting with driving, ground-level tasks, equipment handling, and job site cleanup. This role plays a key role in ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site.
Core Duties
- Assist climbers in various tasks as needed
- Drive company vehicle to job sites
- Perform ground-level tasks such as clearing debris, planting trees, and maintaining equipment
- Handle and operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean up job sites after work is completed
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols
What You Bring
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or related field preferred but not required
- Strong physical fitness to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of tree care practices is beneficial
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks
