The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Groundsman to support our tree care operations. This position is crucial to the success of the crew, assisting with driving, ground-level tasks, equipment handling, and job site cleanup. This role plays a key role in ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site.

Core Duties

• Assist climbers in various tasks as needed
• Drive company vehicle to job sites
• Perform ground-level tasks such as clearing debris, planting trees, and maintaining equipment
• Handle and operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean up job sites after work is completed
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols

What You Bring

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or related field preferred but not required
• Strong physical fitness to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of tree care practices is beneficial
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks

Tree Guardians offers a full-time, non-remote position with competitive pay ranging from $18 to $25 per hour. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the successful completion of each job site.
