About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented groundskeeper to join our team at CORBAN UNIVERSITY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the campus's outdoor spaces, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Workdays/shifts: Weekdays - morning shifts.
What You'll Do
- Mow and edge lawns using appropriate equipment
- Clean and maintain walkways, sidewalks, and other paved areas
- Plant and water flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed
- Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots during winter months
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as raking leaves and picking up trash
- Follow safety protocols when using equipment and handling chemicals
What You Bring
- A minimum of one year of experience in groundskeeping or related field is preferred
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for long periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
