Role Overview
As a Graduate Engineer in Geotechnical and Tunnel Engineering at SMEC, you will be part of an innovative and high-impact talent group. Our two-year Graduate Development Program (GDP) is designed to accelerate your growth through hands-on project experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, analysis, and evaluation of geotechnical and tunnel engineering solutions for infrastructure projects.
- Support site investigations and data collection activities.
- Conduct research and contribute to technical reports and documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- A recent graduate or early career professional with a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- A strong academic background with excellent grades.
- Technical skills in geotechnical and tunnel engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, FEM, and other engineering analysis software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment.
