Senior Financial Analyst, Amazon Business Finance Go To Market Operations

Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to drive profitable growth across Amazon Business Finance in the North America Commercial, Public and Strategic segment. Based in International, King County, this full-time role partners directly with customer-facing teams to deliver financial insights and data-driven strategy that fuels market expansion and operational excellence.

About the Role

You'll serve as a trusted financial strategist within Amazon Business, translating complex financial data into actionable insights for go-to-market operations. This position sits at the intersection of finance, business operations, and customer strategy, where your analysis directly influences how Amazon Business invests in customer segments and market verticals. You'll own comprehensive financial analysis supporting strategic planning, performance tracking, and profitability optimization across the Commercial, Public and Strategic business unit.

What You'll Do

• Develop financial models and forecasts to support go-to-market strategy across customer segments and business verticals
• Analyze business performance, identify cost drivers, and recommend levers for profitable growth
• Partner with operations and business teams to build financial business cases for new initiatives and market expansion
• Design and track key performance indicators that align financial health with strategic objectives
• Prepare executive-level reporting and insights that inform leadership decisions on customer investment and market prioritization
• Conduct financial due diligence and scenario analysis to evaluate business opportunities
• Build tools and dashboards that automate financial reporting and enable self-service analytics for stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business finance, or strategy consulting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial modeling
• Strong analytical foundation with ability to synthesize large datasets and communicate findings clearly to non-financial audiences
• Demonstrated experience partnering with operations and business teams on strategic initiatives
• Track record of translating financial insights into actionable business recommendations
• Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and owning analysis end-to-end
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
