BeyondTrust is hiring a Customer Trust Specialist to serve as the trusted security voice in front of enterprise customers across Canada and the United States. About the Role
As BeyondTrust's Customer Trust Specialist, you'll act as the designated security authority during high-stakes customer engagements, helping advance new opportunities and renewals. This strategic, revenue-supporting position sits where security expertise, customer success, and sales enablement meet. You'll articulate BeyondTrust's security posture directly to enterprise and regulated-industry accounts, field demanding security questionnaires and RFPs, and connect our internal security program with what customers expect — driving measurable impact by shortening deal cycles, lowering churn risk, and positioning BeyondTrust as a dependable security partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the named security expert on enterprise customer calls, including CISO briefings, architecture reviews, and in-depth BeyondTrust security sessions.
- Lead proactive advisory discussions for strategic accounts, aligning BeyondTrust capabilities to frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
- Own the primary escalation path for security-sensitive customer concerns, coordinating with internal InfoSec, Engineering, and Legal partners.
- Work alongside Sales and Customer Success to address security objections and clear security-related blockers that slow deals.
- Represent BeyondTrust's security stance in customer-facing assets, from briefings and white papers to public documentation.
- Build and refine a centralized security knowledge base so the GTM organization can respond consistently and at scale.
- Collaborate with the Threat Intelligence team, tracking regulatory shifts to advise customers on how BeyondTrust meets emerging requirements.
- Contribute to internal Trust & Assurance work, including Product Health Reviews, Cloud Governance communications, and Security Issues Management outreach.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud security, cybersecurity architecture, or a related technical discipline, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Strong command of PAM, identity security, Zero Trust architectures, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Customer-facing or consulting experience, with confidence presenting to C-level and CISO audiences.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001/42001, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, CMMC, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to produce authoritative security documentation and engage every level of an organization.
- Skill interpreting technical inputs — logs, architecture diagrams, and reports — and explaining them to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Legal while managing concurrent engagements.
Nice to have: a degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Information Assurance; pre-sales or sales engineering experience at a security vendor; work with federal agencies or regulated industries; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security; and familiarity with AI and Post-Quantum Cryptography frameworks.
