About This Position

Geek Squad Agents are the frontline support team at Best Buy, delivering hands-on technology assistance and expertise to customers who need help with computers, smartphones, tablets, and other electronics. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking technical guidance, performing diagnostics, offering solutions, and coordinating with team members on more involved repairs. This is a full-time position based at our Duluth store, where you'll work directly with customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assess customer technology needs through active listening and diagnostic questioning
• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets
• Execute routine services including device setup, software installation, and security updates
• Document issues, solutions, and customer interactions accurately and timely
• Collaborate with fellow Geek Squad agents on complex repairs and escalations
• Maintain knowledge of current technology products, features, and industry trends
• Provide clear explanations of technical concepts to non-technical customers
