About the Role

As an FWSP Labor assistant at Hope Center, you'll perform essential support work that enables the organization's emergency assistance mission. This role involves regular lifting, carrying, and moving materials in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll work alongside experienced staff and volunteers, contributing directly to the services Hope Center provides to families and individuals facing hardship.

What You'll Do

• Receive, organize, and process incoming donations of food and clothing
• Assist with client intake and resource navigation under staff supervision
• Stock shelves and maintain organized storage of emergency assistance inventory
• Support distribution of food, clothing, and essential resources to clients
• Assist with facility maintenance and general organization tasks
• Document inventory and support donation logistics
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers in a mission-driven environment

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items
• Willingness to learn and follow organizational procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Must be a University of Central Oklahoma student eligible for Federal Work-Study
• Flexible availability during business hours
