Emerson School District is hiring a Full-Time Spanish Teacher to inspire elementary learners in grades K–6 across our Memorial and Villano Schools in the US.
About the Role
As a Full-Time Spanish Teacher at Emerson School District, you will lead engaging, age-appropriate world language instruction for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. This in-person, full-time position begins July 1, 2026, and is based at our Memorial/Villano Schools. It is an ideal opportunity for a passionate educator eager to build a strong foundation in Spanish language and culture among young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver lively, developmentally appropriate Spanish lessons for elementary students in grades K–6.
- Foster early language acquisition through interactive activities, conversation, and cultural exploration.
- Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet a range of learning needs.
- Cultivate a supportive, inclusive classroom where every student feels encouraged to participate.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and achievement.
Qualifications
- Appropriate New Jersey teaching certification for elementary Spanish/world language instruction.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish.
- Experience working with elementary-age children and a genuine enthusiasm for early language education.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
