Flatbed CDL Driver, Regional Route

System Transport is seeking experienced flatbed CDL drivers for full-time regional routes in Ireland, Dubois County and surrounding areas of the western United States. If you have a CDL-A and a track record safely hauling specialized cargo, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a flatbed CDL driver with System Transport, you'll operate tractor-trailer equipment across regional and over-the-road routes, transporting essential industrial cargo that keeps America's infrastructure and manufacturing moving. This is meaningful work—the materials you haul (structural steel, glass, aluminum, machinery, coils, and other specialty metals) are destined for construction sites, manufacturing facilities, and businesses throughout the western region. You'll work full-time routes with predictable scheduling and competitive standards in the flatbed segment.

What You'll Do

• Operate Class 8 flatbed tractors to transport industrial materials safely and on-time
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain equipment integrity
• Secure specialized cargo using proper flatbed techniques and compliance with DOT regulations
• Navigate regional routes and over-the-road assignments across the western United States
• Maintain detailed logbooks and vehicle records in accordance with FMCSA requirements
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding load status and delivery windows

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL with flatbed experience preferred
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening
• Proven experience hauling specialty cargo or heavy materials
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to vehicle maintenance
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight delivery schedules
