CNC Consulting is hiring a full-time Workday Financial Consultant to join our team at our New York, New York office. As a Workday Financial Consultant, you'll support the implementation and optimization of financial systems for enterprise clients, collaborating with finance, HR, IT, and implementation partners.
About the Role
In this on-site full-time position, you'll drive Workday Finance module implementations, ensuring systems align with client business processes and best practices. Working alongside functional leads and technical teams, you'll translate complex financial requirements into effective system configurations and solutions.
What You'll Do
- Configure and optimize Workday Financial modules to meet client-specific requirements
- Partner with Finance functional leads to understand business processes and system needs
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and external implementation consultants throughout the project lifecycle
- Gather and document financial system requirements and functional specifications
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure configurations perform as intended
- Provide guidance on Workday best practices and process improvements
- Support cutover and go-live activities for financial system implementations
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with Workday Financial modules (Financials, Expenses, Revenue, or similar)
- Deep understanding of general ledger, accounting, or financial planning processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and ability to work across technical and business teams
- Experience in ERP implementation, financial systems, or enterprise software consulting
- Ability to document requirements clearly and manage project deliverables
