Ag Field Supervisor- Gillett

Cross Resource Group is hiring an Ag Field Supervisor to lead agricultural operations in Gillett, Oconto County. This full-time, field-based position bridges grower partnerships and processing plant operations, overseeing crop management, field supervision, and harvest coordination for a dynamic food and vegetable processing company.

About the Role

As Ag Field Supervisor in Gillett, you'll manage critical relationships and operations that connect growers directly to the plant. You'll coordinate between agriculture leadership, harvest teams, plant operations, and local farming partners to ensure smooth crop planning, timely field assessments, and efficient raw product logistics.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with growers to align crop planning and delivery schedules
• Scout fields regularly to monitor crop health, identify challenges early, and guide quality expectations
• Coordinate harvest timing and logistics to maximize product quality and operational efficiency
• Manage field crews and supervise day-to-day agricultural operations in Oconto County
• Communicate clearly between growers, harvest teams, and plant management to resolve issues and optimize workflows
• Track and report on crop performance, field conditions, and harvest progress to leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all field activities

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in agricultural field supervision or related farm and crop management
• Strong knowledge of vegetable or food crop production and harvest practices
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with growers and internal teams
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in tracking schedules, quality, and logistics
• Willingness to lead field teams and solve problems independently
• Valid driver's license required
