DataGrail is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to lead high-stakes, consultative deals across the United States (nationwide) (nationwide) as we scale the first agentic privacy platform. If you close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise SaaS deals and want your impact measured in outcomes rather than activity, this role is built for you.
About the Role
Privacy now sits where AI governance, data operations, and customer trust converge — and enterprises need to automate it without slowing innovation. As an Enterprise Account Executive at DataGrail, you'll own the entire sales cycle for our largest and most strategic accounts, working alongside privacy, legal, security, and data leaders to retire legacy tooling and build modern, automated privacy programs. With cross-functional backing, strong marketing, and a fast-growing category behind you, your work will help define how DataGrail wins the enterprise. This is a full-time, U.S.-based position.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the full enterprise cycle — pipeline creation, discovery, negotiation, close, and expansion — across an assigned territory of strategic accounts.
- Orchestrate multi-threaded deals spanning privacy, legal, security, IT, and executive buyers, guiding procurement and security reviews with a value-led approach.
- Carry and surpass an annual quota of $1M+ in new and expansion ARR.
- Build disciplined territory and account plans, prioritizing where DataGrail delivers the greatest value.
- Generate and manage a qualified pipeline, partnering with SDRs and Marketing while self-sourcing meaningful opportunities and forecasting accurately.
- Lead discovery that surfaces the real business and regulatory drivers behind each privacy initiative and frame them into a quantified business case.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to win as a team.
- Stay current on GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and the growing patchwork of U.S. state laws, positioning DataGrail against legacy alternatives.
- Maintain clean CRM data and reliable forecasts so the business can plan and scale.
Qualifications
- A consistent record of exceeding $1M+ quotas by owning complex, enterprise B2B SaaS cycles end to end.
- Proven ability to build territory and account plans that generate your own pipeline rather than relying on inbound.
- Experience selling technical, multi-stakeholder solutions to senior buyers; privacy, legal, security, IT, or data leadership exposure is a plus.
- Fluency in a modern sales methodology such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message, with rigorous qualification and forecasting.
- Comfort acting decisively in a fast-moving startup amid ambiguity and change.
- Strong financial acumen to construct quantified, value-based business cases.
- A team-first mindset, excellent written and verbal communication, and credible executive presence.
- Bonus: background in privacy, data governance, compliance, or other regulated software; early-stage enterprise selling; and familiarity with a modern GTM stack like Salesforce and Gong.
