About the Role

As a Family Intervention Specialist with Youth Villages, you'll provide direct support to families navigating complex challenges. Working in a clinical capacity, you'll help identify family strengths and barriers, develop tailored intervention strategies, and guide families toward sustainable positive change. What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive family assessments to understand dynamics, strengths, and areas for growth
• Collaborate with youth and family members to create personalized intervention and treatment plans
• Provide counseling, coaching, and psychoeducational support to families
• Connect families with community resources, services, and support systems
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document outcomes
• Partner with colleagues, supervisors, and community agencies to ensure coordinated care

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
• Experience working with families, youth, or in a clinical or community support role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and solution-focused in challenging situations
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the service area
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to serve families
