F-22 Mission Planner – Level 3

Lockheed Martin seeks an experienced F-22 Mission Planner - Level 3 to join our operations team at Nellis Air Force Base in Clark County, Nevada. This full-time role places you at the forefront of fifth-generation air superiority, delivering mission planning expertise that directly enables fighter squadron operations.

About the Role

As an F-22 Mission Planner - Level 3, you'll serve as a critical strategic resource for mission success, managing complex planning cycles and leading tactical coordination across two of the United States Air Force's elite fighter squadrons. This level position demands proven expertise, independent judgment, and deep knowledge of advanced fighter operations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive mission plans for F-22 Raptor operations, ensuring alignment with squadron objectives and air combat requirements
• Coordinate tactical elements across multiple squadrons, managing timelines, resources, and operational dependencies
• Analyze intelligence, threat data, and operational parameters to inform mission strategies and pilot briefing materials
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior planners, establishing best practices and operational standards
• Maintain compliance with Air Force regulations, safety protocols, and classified information handling procedures
• Collaborate with pilots, operations officers, and support personnel to optimize mission outcomes and readiness

What We're Looking For

• Active security clearance (Secret minimum; Top Secret preferred) or eligibility to obtain one
• Demonstrated experience in military aviation operations or mission planning, preferably with fighter aircraft
• Strong knowledge of air tactics, weapons systems, and combat operations
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives
• Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Technical proficiency with mission planning software and military systems
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military/professional experience
