What This Role Involves
As an Experienced Pet Groomer at Bark & Mane of NW Chicagoland, you'll deliver professional grooming services that keep pets healthy, comfortable, and looking their best. This hands-on position combines technical skill, animal handling, and direct communication with pet owners who depend on your expertise throughout Lakewood and McHenry County.
Core Duties
- Bathe, dry, and groom dogs and other pets according to breed standards and owner preferences
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide coat care using professional grooming techniques
- Consult with clients about grooming styles, pet health, and available services
- Maintain and sanitize all grooming equipment, tools, and work areas daily
- Handle animals safely while monitoring their comfort and well-being
- Develop relationships with repeat clients and their pets
