Summary of Position:

NVE Experience Agency seeks an Executive Event Producer to lead Production efforts across a retained industry-leader within the tech field. They will be responsible for supervising and coordinating an annual portfolio of events, from conception to execution. The primary responsibilities are divided between two workstreams:

  1. Working with retained client stakeholders to build out annual event plans, inclusive of budget estimations/ resource planning/ timeline development/providing oversight & escalation to production teams & clients.
  2. Directly owning projects in the role of an Executive Producer: Owning project delivery end-to-end. Developing ideas and concepts for an event, project managing executable plans, overseeing operations, owning budgets, managing project timelines, directing staff, and coordinating technical and production teams.

Strong relationship skills, service mentality and the ability to provide multiple options for solutions are essential to this role. They possess the ability to oversee multiple teams to successfully execute events. This is a management position that will supervise production teams while also overseeing overall event operations. An extensive background in event production is required and should have extensive knowledge in event design and layout, staging, lighting, sound, scenic elements, guest flow and timing, and overall event development skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead production efforts across a retained client, and annual calendar of event activity
    • Scoping projects
    • Developing workback timelines
    • Developing indicative Budgets
    • Identifying staffing needs & building staffing Plans
    • Advising clients as an SME for production
    • Overseeing project teams as point of escalation (for projects where not assigned as the EP)
    • Serve as a key contact for client communications
  • Lead the execution of large and/ or complex projects as an EP
    • Lead in kick-off meeting
    • Define roles and responsibilities of the project team
    • Lead development of production schedule, project documents and organization of information
    • Participate in creative development 
    • Own project management & project delivery.
    • Organize and manage communications between event team members
    • Manage freelance resources
    • Look for innovative solutions to production methods
    • Budget Management & ensure overall project health 
  • Develop Production Talent 
    • Oversee & have knowledge of all production & technical elements that go into an event

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of proven event production experience required
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
  • 5-7 years of management or supervisory experience
  • Leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition
  • Thrive in a fast paced, agency environment
  • Excellent computer skills Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, social media sites
  • Thorough understanding of permitting standards (Including but not limited to TPA, Special Event, Fire, Health & Safety, Building & Safety, Noise, etc.) and ability to successfully oversee production timelines and needs as related to permit procurement
  • Ability to effectively manage tasks across multiple projects/various clients at the same time

Extra Credit:

  • Bilingual abilities preferably Spanish
  • Experience producing events internationally
  • Experience with event niche (VIP hospitality, Tradeshow, Keynote, Content Production)
  • NetSuite experience
  • CAD experience

Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely and in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite 
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Have a valid Driver’s License
  • Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items
  • Available to work weekends and evenings as needed for events

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in any of our hub locations, however, we will consider remote candidates for this role.

Salary Estimation: [$130,000.00 – $190,000.00]

This is an exempt full-time position. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to – location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications. 

Employment eligibility verification is required for this role. In certain states, NVE participates in the E-Verify program in accordance with local regulations.
