About the Role

The Executive Director of Development serves as the chief development officer for the Indiana University School of Dentistry, leading comprehensive fundraising strategy and resource development initiatives. You will direct all aspects of private giving, major gifts, alumni engagement, and philanthropic partnerships to support the school's mission and growth. This is a pivotal role in securing the financial resources that fuel innovation in dental education, research advancement, and clinical programs.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development office and design comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with school priorities
• Cultivate and solicit major gifts from individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners
• Manage alumni relations and engagement programs to strengthen institutional loyalty and giving
• Oversee capital campaigns and annual giving initiatives
• Build and mentor a development team to achieve revenue goals
• Collaborate with school leadership, faculty, and administration on fundraising priorities
• Report on development outcomes and impact to institutional leadership
