About the Role

We are seeking an Equipment and Fixture Buyer to join our rapidly growing team. This role is critical in sourcing and procuring production equipment, fixtures, tooling, and related materials that support prototype, NPI, and manufacturing scale-up across our photonics and advanced hardware operations.

Core Duties

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for capital equipment and fixtures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
• Evaluate new technologies and equipment to support continuous improvement in production processes.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and manage budgets for equipment purchases and related expenses.

What We're Looking For

• A proven track record of successful procurement and sourcing in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with capital equipment and fixture management, including negotiation and contract management.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and supplier performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of photonics and advanced hardware operations is a plus.
