Join Samsara as Senior Director, Enablement - Shared Services, a remote full-time leadership role that shapes the operational foundation of our field enablement function. Reporting to the VP of Field Enablement, you'll direct the teams responsible for governance, learning experience design, program management, and logistics—ensuring every enablement initiative launches with discipline and delivers measurable impact.

About This Position

As a high-growth public company pioneering the Connected Operations Cloud, Samsara helps organizations across agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing harness IoT data to optimize physical operations. Your role is to build and lead the shared services backbone that enables this mission. You'll establish operational frameworks, governance structures, and reporting discipline that keep enablement programs aligned with business priorities while supporting Sales Skills, Field Activation, Leadership Development, and broader company objectives. This is a leadership role focused on organizational depth, process rigor, and cross-functional partnership.

Core Duties

  • Direct the Enablement Business Operations organization, managing teams focused on learning experience design, operational governance, metrics and analytics, program management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Build and maintain operational infrastructure: intake workflows, prioritization mechanisms, reporting systems, and procedural standards that scale enablement across the company.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach managers within your organization, fostering leadership capabilities and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with enablement leaders across the company to understand their operational needs and ensure shared services deliver measurable value.
  • Design and oversee governance and reporting systems that provide leadership with clear visibility into program performance and business outcomes.
  • Model and reinforce Samsara's operating principles as you build a globally scalable enablement infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years in roles spanning enablement, business operations, or program management.
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling operational infrastructure—including governance, reporting, program management, or supply chain functions—within enablement or go-to-market organizations.
  • Experience leading and developing managers as a people leader, not solely managing individual contributors.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate operational metrics into strategic decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and executives.
