About the Role

This full-time position offers a meaningful opportunity to work alongside a respected boutique law firm serving the greater Los Angeles County area. You'll be the trusted legal advisor for business clients facing employment challenges, from regulatory compliance to litigation. Your expertise will directly impact how companies protect themselves while maintaining fair, legally sound workplace practices.

What You'll Do

  • Counsel businesses on employment law matters including wage and hour regulations, employee classification, and compensation structures
  • Represent clients in employment discrimination disputes and related civil litigation
  • Advise on wrongful termination claims, severance agreements, and workforce reduction strategies
  • Review employment policies, contracts, and handbooks to ensure legal compliance
  • Develop proactive solutions that minimize liability and reduce workplace disputes
  • Work collaboratively with business leaders to translate legal requirements into practical workplace solutions

What We're Looking For

  • Four years of professional experience practicing Business and Employment Law
  • Strong knowledge of California employment law, wage and hour statutes, and discrimination law
  • Demonstrated ability to manage employment litigation and client counseling
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build trust with business clients and serve as a strategic advisor
  • Licensed to practice law in California
