About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated Embryologist for our full-time position at US Fertility's Nashville location. In this hands-on laboratory role, you'll support our clinical team in delivering advanced fertility treatments while maintaining the highest standards of laboratory practice and patient care.
What You'll Do
- Perform oocyte and embryo assessment, monitoring embryo development through culture and evaluation stages
- Assist with oocyte retrieval procedures and prepare gametes and embryos for fertilization and transfer
- Execute embryo cryopreservation and thawing protocols using advanced reproductive techniques
- Maintain meticulous laboratory records and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with reproductive medicine standards
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized laboratory equipment essential to embryology work
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to strict safety, sanitation, and laboratory protocols in all procedures
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in embryology, biology, or a closely related life science field
- Current certification or eligibility for ASCP certification or equivalent reproductive embryology credential
- Demonstrated expertise in assisted reproductive technology (ART) and embryo culture techniques
- Meticulous attention to detail, precision in laboratory work, and strong technical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to continuing professional development in reproductive medicine
