Responsibilities

  • Architect and code real-time vision modules that execute on microcontrollers and system-on-chip platforms
  • Select, configure and calibrate camera sensors and supporting peripherals for consistent image capture
  • Port and accelerate algorithms so they meet latency and accuracy targets on target silicon
  • Partner with hardware and firmware colleagues to resolve integration issues and validate end-to-end pipelines
  • Profile, debug and document system behaviour under varying lighting and environmental conditions
  • Contribute to code reviews and continuous-improvement practices that keep the vision stack robust and maintainable

What You Bring

  • Proven experience writing efficient C or C++ for embedded environments, preferably alongside vision libraries such as OpenCV
  • Solid grounding in digital image processing, optical flow, feature detection or related computer-vision fundamentals
  • Familiarity with common microcontroller tool chains, RTOS concepts and hardware-software co-design practices
  • Ability to read schematics, interpret sensor datasheets and collaborate across disciplines to ship working prototypes
  • Degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or an equivalent technical field, or comparable practical background
  • Clear communication skills that allow you to explain technical trade-offs to teammates and stakeholders
