Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Johns Manville is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for our Etowah facility in McMinn County, Tennessee. In this full-time position, you'll lead our electrical maintenance team, overseeing the reliability and safety of electrical systems critical to our manufacturing operations.

About the Role

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at our Etowah location directs electrical maintenance activities and manages a skilled team responsible for maintaining equipment and systems across our facility in McMinn County. You'll ensure that electrical infrastructure operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with industry standards while supporting production goals.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and direct electrical maintenance technicians in completing scheduled and emergency repairs
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and system reliability
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose system problems, and implement timely solutions
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all work meets OSHA and electrical code requirements
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and work orders
• Train team members on proper maintenance techniques, safety procedures, and new equipment operation
• Respond to urgent electrical failures and coordinate restoration efforts
• Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance that minimizes production impact

What We're Looking For

• Valid electrical license or certification (journeyman or master electrician preferred)
• Substantial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Proven experience supervising or leading maintenance teams
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, industrial equipment, and diagnostic tools
• Thorough understanding of electrical safety standards, OSHA regulations, and industry codes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies as needed
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
