EHS Specialist

LNN Pace Analytical Life Sciences is hiring an EHS Specialist for our Maplewood, Ramsey County location. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to a safer, healthier future while working with a team dedicated to advancing science and protecting our communities.

Position Summary

As an EHS Specialist at LNN Pace Analytical Life Sciences, you'll play a vital role in developing, implementing, and managing environmental health and safety programs. Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with scheduling flexibility, you'll ensure our operations meet all applicable regulations and industry standards while fostering a culture of safety across our organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to maintain a safe workplace
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences
• Maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations
• Collaborate with department leaders to implement safety best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor workplace conditions and equipment to identify potential hazards
• Prepare reports and metrics to track safety performance and program effectiveness

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with standard office software and data management systems
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety and environmental stewardship
