Kroger is hiring a full-time Drug & General Merchandise Clerk at its Eagle Rock location in Los Angeles County — a front-line retail role focused on delivering an outstanding in-store experience for every customer who walks through the door.

About the Role

As a Drug & General Merchandise Clerk at Kroger's Eagle Rock store, you'll play a central part in keeping the department running smoothly — from maintaining a well-stocked, clean sales floor to actively supporting the department manager in hitting sales and service targets. This is a hands-on position that puts customer satisfaction at the center of everything you do.

What You'll Do

• Deliver friendly, attentive service that makes customers feel valued and encourages repeat visits
• Stock, face, and rotate drug and general merchandise product following established planograms and display standards
• Keep aisles, shelves, and the department floor clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Support the department manager in meeting sales, profit, and shrink-reduction goals
• Uphold all quality assurance and product-handling standards, including checking dates and pulling out-of-code items
• Assist customers with product location, selections, and general questions in the drug and general merchandise sections
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and efficiently
• Follow all store safety policies and contribute to a hazard-free shopping environment
• Communicate low inventory and out-of-stock situations to the department team promptly

• Attention to detail when maintaining product displays, pricing, and inventory accuracy
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift products throughout a full shift
• Reliability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Prior retail, grocery, or customer service experience is a plus but not required — Kroger provides training
