About the Role

As a Lyft driver you will use your own vehicle to provide safe, courteous transportation to passengers throughout the Jacksonville area. The position includes access to promotional incentives such as a potential $400 bonus for new drivers and $100 for each set of ten rides completed within a seven‑day window (up to four times). All offers are subject to Lyft’s terms and conditions.

What You'll Do

• Accept ride requests through the Lyft app and transport riders to their destinations
• Maintain a clean, well‑kept vehicle that meets Lyft’s safety standards
• Follow all local traffic laws and practice defensive driving techniques
• Provide excellent customer service, including assisting with luggage and answering rider questions
• Track earnings and ride statistics within the driver dashboard
• Adhere to Lyft’s community guidelines and report any incidents promptly

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum age of 21 (or local minimum age requirement)
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that passes Lyft’s vehicle inspection
• Smartphone capable of running the latest Lyft driver app
• Ability to pass a background check and vehicle review
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
