Driver Class B

Clean Harbors is hiring a Class B Driver in Saint Bernard, Hamilton County to operate commercial vehicles and specialized equipment at customer sites across the Cincinnati area. This full-time position combines essential driving and ground-based logistics duties to support our hazardous waste management and environmental services operations.

About the Role

This Class B Driver position is fundamental to Clean Harbors' logistics operations in the Saint Bernard and Hamilton County region. You'll transport equipment and materials to customer sites, perform on-site setup and support duties, and maintain the safety and reliability standards our customers depend on. The role offers hands-on work with modern commercial vehicles and specialized equipment in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

What You'll Do

• Operate vacuum trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks, and high-powered vacuum loaders to customer locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Execute on-site driving and non-driving duties including equipment positioning, setup, and logistics coordination
• Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
• Ensure safe handling and transport of hazardous materials per environmental and regulatory standards
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure seamless service delivery

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and meet transportation industry safety requirements
• Demonstrated experience operating commercial vehicles or heavy equipment
• Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds and perform sustained hands-on work
• Strong mechanical sense and commitment to vehicle care and safety
• Reliable, safety-focused, and professional work habits
• Availability for full-time work with potential overtime opportunities
