The Opportunity

CHEP is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dispatch Assistant to join our team in Penrose, Auckland, New Zealand. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across various locations.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch shipments according to schedules and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatched items and update relevant databases.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle incoming calls and emails, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with logistics software and databases is advantageous.
