Director, Learning & Development

Join Dental Care Alliance in Sarasota, Manatee County as our next Director of Learning & Development. About the Role

As Director of Learning & Development at Dental Care Alliance, you'll lead the strategic design and execution of comprehensive learning initiatives across our organization. This full-time leadership position focuses on creating high-impact training programs that directly support employee performance, career growth, and alignment with our operational priorities and business objectives.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement enterprise learning strategies that address organizational skill gaps and performance needs
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs across clinical and administrative functions
• Build a learning-centric culture that supports employee engagement, retention, and professional development
• Manage learning operations, budgets, and resources efficiently and strategically
• Partner with department leaders and managers to identify training priorities and measure program impact
• Oversee compliance and regulatory training requirements across the organization
• Select, administer, and optimize learning management systems and training technologies
• Coach and mentor managers in talent development and performance management conversations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Learning & Development, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in learning and development, training management, or human resources
• Proven success designing and delivering impactful training programs in healthcare or similar regulated environments
• Experience with learning management systems and training technology platforms
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies
• Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across organizational levels
• Strategic mindset with ability to align learning initiatives to business objectives
