Director, Ecommerce Engineering

Position Summary 

The Director of Ecommerce Engineering is a technology leader responsible for delivering secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performing digital commerce solutions that enable exceptional customer experiences and support Hanna Andersson’s long-term growth. 

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role leads the ecommerce engineering organization through people leadership, technical stewardship, operational excellence, and cross-functional partnership. The Director is accountable for building high-performing engineering teams, delivering strategic initiatives, modernizing the commerce platform, and ensuring technology investments align with business objectives. 

The Director will lead the evolution of Hanna’s commerce ecosystem – including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, headless commerce, payment platforms, customer data capabilities and CRM, AI-enabled engineering practices, OMS, product information mangement, POS, and future omnichannel initiatives – while driving continuous improvement in engineering quality, delivery, reliability, and operational efficiency. 

This is a full-time, exempt position. The role may be remote or hybrid based on business needs and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Director is expected to support critical production events, peak business periods, and high-priority initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
