About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional-Residential with OPPORTUNITY PARTNERS, you'll provide essential support to individuals with disabilities living in our residential community in Coon Rapids. You'll work alongside a dedicated team committed to helping people achieve independence, build meaningful connections, and live fulfilling lives.
What You'll Do
- Support residents with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household management
- Assist with community integration and meaningful recreational activities
- Help individuals achieve personal goals and develop life skills
- Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming residential environments
- Document support provided and communicate with team members and supervisors
- Respond to residents' needs with patience, respect, and dignity
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide consistent, quality care
What We're Looking For
- Commitment to supporting people with disabilities with compassion and respect
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to assist with personal care and residential tasks
- Reliability and professionalism in a residential care environment
- Willingness to grow through training and development opportunities
- Valid driver's license preferred
