Dietitian Nutrition Services – Part time

About the Role

The Clinical Dietitian plays a vital role in our healthcare team, providing comprehensive nutrition services to diverse patient populations. You'll assess individual nutritional needs, develop personalized care plans, and work collaboratively across our clinical team to optimize patient health outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and gather relevant patient health information to identify dietary needs and medical concerns
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on patient medical conditions and treatment goals
• Monitor patient nutritional status and progress toward established care plan objectives
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families on therapeutic diets and specialized nutritional requirements
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered nutrition care
• Document nutritional assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with healthcare standards
• Stay current with evidence-based nutrition practices and clinical guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• Current certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Strong communication and counseling skills with ability to educate diverse patient populations
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
