Dietitian I PRN

About the Role

As a Dietitian I in our Crofton facility, you'll be at the forefront of patient nutrition assessment and therapeutic intervention. Working within our healthcare system, you'll apply clinical expertise to evaluate, plan, and implement personalized nutrition strategies that support patient recovery and health goals.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive malnutrition screenings and assessments to identify patients' nutritional status and clinical risks
• Perform nutrition-focused physical examinations to support medical diagnosis and intervention planning
• Develop and communicate evidence-based diet recommendations tailored to individual patient conditions and medical requirements
• Provide patient and family education on therapeutic nutrition, dietary modifications, and lifestyle adjustments
• Document clinical findings and recommendations in accordance with regulatory standards and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams—physicians, nurses, and support staff—to optimize nutritional outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• Licensure as required by the State of Maryland
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in acute care settings
• Excellent communication abilities to educate patients and document clinical care clearly
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
• Knowledge of current medical nutrition therapy standards and clinical best practices
