This role focuses on diagnosing faults, performing mechanical repairs, and ensuring all vehicles—whether trucks or other motor vehicles—are roadworthy and perform at their best. Your expertise in diesel engines and light commercial or heavy vehicle maintenance will be central to the workshop's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical faults across all brands of trucks and motor vehicles using systematic troubleshooting techniques
• Carry out comprehensive repair and maintenance work on diesel engines, drivetrain components, and electrical systems
• Perform servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance to keep vehicles in peak operating condition
• Use workshop equipment and diagnostic tools safely and effectively
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
• Communicate clearly with workshop team members to coordinate repairs and schedule work

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic with demonstrated expertise in truck and motor vehicle repair
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and mechanical systems
• Current or relevant qualifications in automotive or diesel mechanical trades
