About the Role

As a Diesel Mechanic Technician at Ryder, you will diagnose, service, and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles that support our truck fleet operations in Allenstown, New Hampshire. The position pays $31.06 per hour and rewards skill growth, making it ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks and fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues to restore vehicles to safe operating condition.
• Document service work accurately and follow Ryder's safety and quality standards.
• Pursue ASE certifications, supported by a $100 bonus for each new ASE certification earned, up to $700.

Qualifications

• Proven, mid-level experience as a diesel technician or diesel mechanic.
• Working knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, brakes, and related truck systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret repair specifications.
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and ongoing technical development.
• Willingness to obtain ASE certifications over time.
