DevsecOps Engineer, Video Intelligence at NCS Group in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide)
The Opportunity
NCS Group is seeking a DevsecOps Engineer with expertise in integrating security practices into software development and operations processes. As part of our Video Intelligence team, you will be responsible for enhancing the security posture of our video processing platforms while ensuring continuous delivery and deployment.
What You'll Do
- Implement secure coding practices and DevsecOps methodologies in the development lifecycle.
- Integrate security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated security assessments.
- Conduct code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, and security professionals to ensure secure development practices are followed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevsecOps or related field.
- Strong understanding of security principles, including secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security features.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Certifications such as Certified DevOps Engineer (CDOE), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), or similar are a plus.
