Delivery Excellence – Deployment Lead – Senior Manager

EY is hiring a SAP Deployment Lead at the senior manager level to direct enterprise-scale implementation initiatives from the Pittsburgh office. In this Delivery Excellence role, you'll oversee mission-critical SAP transformations, lead distributed teams, and partner with executive stakeholders to ensure successful go-lives that drive sustainable business impact.

What This Role Involves

This senior management position combines hands-on delivery leadership with strategic account oversight for complex SAP implementations. You'll guide clients through each phase of their SAP transformation—from planning and configuration through deployment and post-launch stabilization. Your expertise will shape delivery excellence standards, establish governance practices, and ensure every engagement exceeds quality and financial targets. You'll mentor consultants, influence C-suite decisions, and build trusted partnerships that position EY as the go-to SAP transformation advisor.

Core Duties

• Lead end-to-end SAP deployment programs, managing scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation
• Build and mentor delivery teams responsible for implementation execution across technical and functional areas
• Establish delivery processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices
• Communicate with executive clients to manage expectations, report progress, and resolve critical issues
• Oversee SAP configuration, testing, and go-live activities to ensure successful system adoption
• Identify implementation risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive resolution of blockers

Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience leading large-scale SAP implementation programs as a senior manager or program director
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP modules, solutions, and deployment methodologies in enterprise environments
• Proven leadership capability with a track record of developing high-performing teams
• Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to influence enterprise-level stakeholders
• Experience designing and implementing program governance, quality frameworks, and delivery standards
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field
