The Opportunity

DataBank Holdings Ltd., a leading provider of enterprise-class data center, cloud, and interconnection services, is seeking a Technician 1 to join our team in Highland Park, Texas. As part of this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and functionality of our world-class facilities, ensuring that customers receive 100% uptime availability of their data, applications, and infrastructure.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the physical environment of the data center to ensure optimal conditions for equipment operation
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, dusting, and inspecting equipment
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems
• Support the implementation of security measures to protect data center assets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operation and problem resolution

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in data center operations, IT support, or a similar role
• Familiarity with server hardware and software systems
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure and security principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (due to the non-remote nature of this position)
