Role Overview
American Cruise Lines, the largest USA flagged cruise line in the United States, seeks enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our shipboard team as Cruise Directors for the 2026 season. Our fleet comprises newly constructed vessels designed to provide a unique small-ship experience with no more than 200 passengers per vessel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Welcome and introduce guests upon boarding, providing them with an overview of the cruise itinerary and onboard activities.
- Plan and lead daily events such as lectures, trivia games, and social gatherings to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain a positive rapport with crew members and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of shipboard operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and address any concerns or issues that arise during the cruise.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and emergency procedures on board.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with guests and crew members.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not mandatory.
