About the Role
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Allegheny Valley Hospital, you will provide skilled anesthetic care to patients throughout the perioperative journey. Working alongside a supportive group of anesthesia professionals, you will help ensure safe, comfortable, and high-quality outcomes across a wide variety of surgical procedures in a welcoming, family-friendly community setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage anesthesia for patients in the surgical and operating room setting.
- Support cases across multiple surgical specialties, including Orthopedics and General surgery, among others.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after anesthesia to maintain safety and stability.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and fellow anesthesia team members to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with hospital and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Appropriate state licensure to practice as a nurse anesthetist.
- Clinical competency in delivering anesthesia across diverse surgical specialties.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to team-based, patient-centered care.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced perioperative environment.
