You'll respond to mental health emergencies across the community, providing immediate crisis intervention and stabilization to adults in their moments of greatest need.

About the Role

As a Crisis Worker specializing in community mobile crisis response, you'll be part of a dedicated team bringing mental health support directly to adults experiencing psychiatric emergencies. PATH's mobile crisis unit operates throughout the service area, reaching people in their homes, workplaces, and communities when traditional office-based services aren't accessible. You'll combine empathy with practical crisis management, helping individuals de-escalate, identify immediate safety concerns, and connect with appropriate treatment options.

What You'll Do

• Respond to crisis calls and mobile outreach requests from adults experiencing mental health emergencies
• Conduct brief assessments to evaluate risk, safety, and appropriate level of care
• Provide de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention support in community settings
• Coordinate with emergency services, hospitals, and ongoing treatment providers
• Complete documentation and crisis reports with accuracy and timeliness
• Connect clients to PATH's comprehensive behavioral health services and community resources
• Work flexible hours to meet crisis demand across the service area

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to obtain crisis intervention training or relevant certifications
• Commitment to working with diverse populations experiencing mental health challenges
• Ability to travel throughout the service area for mobile crisis response
