About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Counsellor to join our team at Access Health and Community (AccessHC) in Lilydale. This part-time role (0.6 EFT) is focused on providing mental health and wellbeing support within a community-based setting until July 2027.

Core Duties

• To provide individual, couple, and group counselling sessions to clients with diverse backgrounds and needs.
• To conduct initial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
• To maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
• To collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• To contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of mental health services within the community.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• A current registration with an appropriate professional body.
• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health and wellbeing support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
