SOWEGA Rising, Inc. is seeking a motivated and community-minded individual to join our team as a Community Canvasser. The role involves engaging with residents in Albany, Georgia, to gather feedback on local issues and promote our organization's mission.

Responsibilities

• Gather input from the community regarding local concerns and needs
• Promote SOWEGA Rising, Inc. initiatives through door-to-door canvassing and public events
• Collect data and compile reports on community feedback for organizational use
• Build relationships with community members to foster trust and support for our organization's goals

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Affinity for working in a team environment while also being independent
• Experience with community outreach or similar roles is preferred but not required
• Passion for improving the quality of life for marginalized communities in Southwest Georgia
