Your work directly supports homebuyers who might not qualify for conventional lending channels and strengthens relationships across your market.

What You'll Do

• Originate residential mortgage loans aligned with Busey Bank policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines
• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand financial situations, homeownership goals, and loan needs
• Provide comprehensive home counseling services including education on affordable financing, down payment assistance, and credit preparation
• Build and expand relationships with existing customers to identify additional lending opportunities
• Develop new business within your community through outreach, partnerships, and referral networks
• Gather and review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Explain loan terms, rates, and repayment schedules in clear, straightforward language
• Maintain accurate records and follow all compliance and regulatory requirements
