About the Role
WestRock is seeking experienced Class A Commercial Drivers to support our Transportation & Logistics team. In this full-time role based in Minerva Park, Franklin County, you'll operate commercial vehicles to move our paper and packaging products, working within a culture that prioritizes driver safety, compliance, and on-time delivery performance.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A Commercial Vehicle to transport paper and packaging products to customer and WestRock facilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety
- Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) requirements
- Properly secure loads according to DOT standards and industry best practices
- Deliver shipments on schedule to designated locations while meeting customer commitments
- Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to optimize routing and load management
Skills & Qualifications
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Valid DOT medical certification
- Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) systems
- Experience securing commercial loads safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with dispatch, warehouse, and customer teams
