Incident is hiring a Commercial Account Executive in San Francisco to help fast-scaling teams sell incident.io, the AI-powered incident response platform trusted by industry leaders. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for a driven closer ready to build a high-velocity sales engine.

About the Role

As a Commercial Account Executive at Incident in San Francisco, you'll own one of the company's fastest-growing segments, selling to customers ranging from early-stage startups through the upper mid-market across North America. You'll join a VC-backed business that has raised $100M and helped over 1,500 companies—including Netflix, Airbnb, and Block—run more than 500,000 incidents. Day to day, you'll work across a modern sales stack including Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and Omni.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, qualify, and close commercial accounts while maximizing revenue across your territory.
  • Run exceptional product demos and channel customer feedback back to the product team to shape what gets built next.
  • Partner with leadership to refine sales processes, question conventional approaches, and keep a sharp focus on growth.
  • Help establish a new product category with strong market fit that is still early in capturing its full potential.
  • Collaborate across the company in an environment where revenue sits at the heart of the business strategy.

Qualifications

  • A demonstrated history of closing B2B SaaS deals and engaging technical buyers such as engineers and CTOs.
  • Experience landing new business at the high end of the commercial range, including deals of $50K and above with multiple decision-makers.
  • A genuine hunter mentality, with inventive outreach approaches and resilience in the face of rejection.
  • The instinct to use data, customer proof points, and deep product knowledge to communicate value to varied stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating autonomously in an ambiguous, fast-moving startup setting.
